Our conference is not a passing event; rather, it is a solid platform and a lofty standpoint to embrace brilliant minds and cultivate promising talents.

The SIT 2025 conference doesn’t issue slogans, but rather creates paths; paths that weave the threads of tomorrow from the light of thought, bringing together ambitious people, researchers, inventors, and innovators. It is Baghdad, the capital of Arab thought, welcoming the elite with open arms and opening its doors to all who seek to be creators of tomorrow, not followers of it.

Here… minds embrace, ideas compete, and ambitions flourish. Here, we declare it a launching platform for discovering Arab talent, harnessing their scientific and research potential, and building bridges of cooperation between researchers and institutions across the Arab world.

The presence of this conference is a milestone as it is the first of its kind held under the auspices of the Iraqi Prime Minister and is an official honor for the Council of Arab Economic Unity, General of the.

 The conference represents an exceptional occasion, as it is the first to award the “Arab Innovation and Talent Superiority Awards” under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the League of Arab States, a pioneering step towards supporting creative Arab minds and honoring achievers in various fields of innovation.

 The conference is also sponsored and officially attended by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), a United Nations organization based in Geneva, giving the event a high-level international dimension.

High-level international participation continues, with a representative from the European Union expected to attend. The Belgian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs may also participate, along with the President of the European Union Inventors and Innovators Association, and a representative from the European Space Agency, who will deliver a specialized lecture. We were also honored to invite the Mayor of Paris, France, reflecting the international significance of the conference.

Through the Arab  European Organization for Cultural Exchange in Belgium (OEAEC), a high-level delegation of European figures will participate, while Google (Middle East and Africa) will participate by offering a free training workshop with accredited certificates.

From the United States, we were honored to invite Destination Imagination, a leading global organization that supports innovation among young people, to give a lecture in person or via videoconferencing.

The conference will feature the participation of a number of distinguished Arab inventors and innovators, including holders of internationally awarded patents, along with a prominent representation of people of determination, including the deaf, mute, and those with autism spectrum disorders, a true embodiment of the principle of inclusiveness and inclusion.

A global conference that creates transformation and establishes a pioneering scientific generation

This global and Arab conference constitutes a high-level international platform, with the participation of prestigious Arab and international entities. It will thus serve as a bright window reflecting the advanced, civilized image of Arab countries as incubators of young talents and energies in the fields of innovation and invention.

The conference proceedings will be documented and published in two prestigious international scientific journals:

• World Talented and Innovation Journal for Science and Engineering (WTIJ).
• The official annual newsletter of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), affiliated with the United Nations Office via the official website: www.wtijse.com
• The conference is co-sponsored and supervised by the Arab Council of Talented and Inventors,IRAQ. affiliated with the Arab Trainers Union, and the Arab Experts Portal, affiliated with the Council of Arab Economic Unity-League of Arab States. This step confirms the deep Arab dimension of the conference and its strategic mission to build the future of Arab innovation.
• The conference also seeks to attract Arab and universal scientific and investment institutions which is entities to establish exclusive partnerships with the organizers in the fields of supporting innovation and developing its mechanisms, thus contributing to building an Arab environment that stimulates creativity and scientific production.
• Continuing its educational journey, the conference will announce the launch of an integrated curriculum for teaching innovation in Iraqi schools. This curriculum has been developed and updated according to the standards of UNESCO and the International Federation of Inventors (IFIA – Geneva), and is a result of the conference’s efforts since its beginning.
• This approach represents a qualitative shift in linking innovation education at all levels—from primary to university—with the labor market, establishing a national knowledge base that enhances the capabilities of Arab youth and places them on the map of Arab and global excellence. This aligns with one of the core objectives of the Iraqi National Innovation Center.

 Leading Arab and international scientific institutions, universities, and investment companies will also participate in the conference. An integrated exhibition of scientific innovations and patents will be held, aiming to connect entrepreneurs with the labor market and investors to achieve added economic value.

The Fifth International Conference for Scouts of Innovation and Scientific Talent – SIT 2025 invites you to actively participate and submit scientific papers, innovative projects, and invention models that express your capabilities and aspirations for an Arab and global future based on excellence.

Requirements for Submitting Papers and Innovations:

• Summary of the innovation or research paper.
• Explanatory video, if available.
• Supporting drawings/diagrams.
• A copy of the innovation registration certificate (if available).

• Participation is open to individuals, teams, institutions, schools, universities, and companies.
• Participation fees vary depending on the type of participation (poster, model, allocated space).
• Official certificates will be provided to all participants, along with opportunities to publish research in Scopus-indexed journals.
• Innovation awards are being awarded for the first time, sponsored and accredited by the Council of Arab Economic Unity.

Exhibition Accompanying the Conference

On the sidelines of the conference, a specialized international exhibition will be held to showcase innovations, industrial models, and technologies, and to present real investment opportunities attended by companies, investors, and institutions.

 The exhibition includes:

 Innovation Exhibition: A Platform to Showcase Creativity and Promising Investment

Opportunities coinciding with the second day of the conference, a special exhibition will showcase innovative products that the conference has embraced since its first edition, in addition to a group of new innovations and projects related to the fifth edition (5th SIT), scheduled to be held in Baghdad, Allah willing.

The exhibition will feature unique works characterized by leadership and innovation, particularly in the fields of pharmaceutical industries, medical technologies, and advanced technological solutions, making it a true platform for showcasing projects with a promising developmental and investment impact.

These innovations also represent a unique opportunity for organizers and supporting entities to enter a lucrative and promising financial market, given that they are the product of meticulous scientific research. A number of them are even nominated for participation in the annual global forum of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA 2025).

The exhibition is expected to feature a large number of innovations that are applicable and scalable, enhancing the chances of attracting investors, financiers, and institutions concerned with scientific entrepreneurship.

A specialized evaluation committee will be formed to select the participating innovations. This committee will include representatives from the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), the Arab Council for Talented and Inventors, the League of Arab States, the European Inventors Association, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and specialized experts from several Arab countries.

 This committee will be tasked with nominating the five best innovations for the “Arab Excellence Awards for Innovation, Talent, and Invention,” awards being awarded for the first time within the conference, affirming support for scientific and creative excellence in the Arab world.

Excellence Opportunities and Awards

• All participants whose work is accepted will receive official certificates of Excellence (the Plaque of Excellence) accredited by the Council of Arab Economic Unity at the League of Arab States.
• The most outstanding innovations will be nominated for the Arab Excellence Awards in Innovation and Talent, as evaluated by a scientific committee from IFIA, and the Arab Talent Council affiliated with the Union of Arab Trainers operating within the Council of Arab Economic Unity at the League of Arab States.
• Outstanding projects will be nominated for publication in international scientific journals and global classifications, such as:

• The number of accepted innovations is limited, so early registration is recommended.
• Participation is also open to people with disabilities (deaf, mute, and autistic) in a special category.
• Participants will be given the opportunity to present their projects to representatives of funding and investment institutions.
